Timing system used is PORTATREE PROFESSIONAL
with 60 ft., 200 ft., mph, finish line timers, and scoreboards.
Track surface consists of river bottom sand.
Lanes are 30 ft. wide with 900 ft. of shutdown area.
Guardrail and fence extend 400 ft. down the track.
Track, shutdown area, and pits are well lit.
Organized in May 1996, the raceway chose its name from the Little Sandy River that runs beside the track.
